Meet Our Team
Dr. Mujahida Mahmoodi, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Mujahida Mahmoodi is a dedicated and compassionate dentist from Virginia, committed to providing exceptional care in a relaxed, patient-focused environment. As the owner and lead dentist of Aria Dental Spa, Dr. Mahmoodi has created a practice that embodies her passion for both dentistry and family. The practice’s name, inspired by her daughter Aria, reflects the deep personal connection that drives her commitment to her patients’ oral health and well-being.
Dr. Mahmoodi earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University
College of Dentistry in 2021, where she received comprehensive training in a wide range of
dental specialties. In recognition of her academic achievements, Dr. Mahmoodi was honored
with the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award through the Prosthodontics Department at Howard
University College of Dentistry. Dr. Mahmoodi also completed advanced
certification and training in implant dentistry through The Advanced Dental Implant Research
and Education Center (AIC).
At Aria Dental Spa, Dr. Mahmoodi utilizes cutting-edge technology to enhance the precision and
quality of a variety of treatments. This includes iTero for digital impressions, offering patients a more comfortable and accurate alternative to traditional molds, Cone Beam Computed
Tomography (CBCT), and digital dental x-rays.
Dr. Mahmoodi is an active member of several prestigious dental organizations, including the
National Dental Association, the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), the American
Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics
(AAFE). Her involvement in these organizations reflects her commitment to continually
expanding her knowledge and skills across various areas of dentistry.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Mahmoodi enjoys cooking, traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with her family. She cherishes every moment with her daughter, Aria, who continues to inspire both her personal and professional life. Dr. Mahmoodi is excited to serve the community of Stafford County and its neighboring cities and to make Aria Dental Spa a trusted and caring space for families to receive top-quality dental care.
Dr. Rahima Mahmoodi
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Rahima Mahmoodi is a dedicated dentist with a strong focus on pediatric dentistry. Originally from Northern Virginia, she began her academic journey at Virginia Tech, earning a bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. Driven by a passion for health and wellness, Dr. Mahmoodi pursued a dental education at A.T. Still University in Arizona, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, along with a certificate in public health. Currently, Dr. Mahmoodi specializes in pediatric dentistry at Nemours Children's Hospital, where she emphasizes the importance of preventative health and whole-person-centered care. She believes that instilling healthy habits early in life is key to lifelong well-being. Her approach to dentistry is deeply influenced by her strong family values, being one of eight siblings in a close-knit family. Dr. Mahmoodi treats her patients as if they are one of her own, providing the same care and attention she would offer to her own family.
Outside of her career, Dr. Mahmoodi enjoys exploring nature through walks, expressing her creativity through painting, staying active with jump roping, and spending time with her family and friends.
Zakia
Office Manager
Zakia began her dental career over 17 years ago as a dental assistant. Her current role is that of office manager. She is energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about dentistry and always willing to go an extra mile for our patients. Zakia has extensive dental knowledge, and her experience in the financial and management areas of our practice makes her an excellent asset to our dream team. In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, and going on long walks with her dog.
